July 27, 2002 - Oops
I've been ill the last few days, and completely forgot I was doing a wig show this afternoon! I'm so very sorry for those of you who logged on and got nothing. Really I feel very badly about the whole thing. We will reschedule to next Saturday. The good thing is by next Saturday I will have two new wigs. One was sent as a gift by a site member, and the other was given to me by a friend. I will let you see them, rather than tell you what they are.
I guess the heat has gotten to me, and fried my brain. I hope no one changed plans to see the show, and then missed out. I'll make it up to you next Saturday with more wig changes than originally planned and we'll make sure to shoot lots of galleries at the same time.
Also keeping me busy has been the foster rescue dog we've taken in, little Romeo is a sweet dog who you've likely seen running around on the camera if you've been tuning in to our daily activities. He will go to his permanent home August 1st, as he has someone who will be adopting him. He's been keeping our little Iggy good company.
I know the journal entries have been few and far between, but I would like to try and change that and write more regularly. It's been a combination of ongoing health issues, still battling the depression, combined with the summer heat, and also doing work on the new sites, and other sites that will be coming added into the mix. That will mean members of Erotimania sites will have even more sites to peruse for their one low membership fee.
As happens on occasion I've had a few people ask me why our site is not all free. It's very simple. This site costs us to maintain. We have to pay hosting fees, we have to pay for domains. We have costs in terms of computer upgrades. When you have sites of this size, the costs are not low, and as we grow, our costs continue to grow as well. Also there is a lot of time and hard work involved in maintaining the sites. At times it has been a struggle to keep it all going. It takes time and occasionally money to advertise. We rely on memberships and donations to keep up and running. All the Erotimania sites are made possible due to memberships. It's a supply and demand thing. If you want more content, more videos, more of anything and everything, the best way to get it is to maintain a membership. The more support we have the more we can concentrate on producing more, and the more time and money we can devote to the sites. So for those of you who complain about it not being for free, that's the reason why. It's very simple really, if I was independently wealthy, it probably would be free. For those of you who support Erotimania through memberships, thank you. It's you that have made the recent growths and changes possible. If you continue supporting there will be more and better coming down the line.
