January  7 - Customs call

Well, I got a call from customs this morning, asking if my parcel from Petco was a personal package.  'Ah-yes' I answered (what parcel from Petco?) going through my head.  Hmmm, looks like little Iggy is getting a prezzie through the mail!  how exciting!  At first I thought maybe it was from one of the hundreds of pet food manufacturers I emailed asking them to send me dog food samples (so far product info and coupons but no one sending any actual food), but then I thought, Petco, that's not a line of dog food, that's a big store, and customs wouldn't call about a teeny tiny sample would they?  The thing is too, I've browsed Petco on the internet, and I was under the impression that they didn't ship outside the U.S., curiouser and curiouser.  So who knows for sure until it arrives, but -something- is coming in the mail - woohoo!  I love surprises, big or small, I love them all, I hope it's food, even if it is just a sample, because that's what we need most!  First free/highly discounted puppy kindergarten, now Petco parcels, happy happy iggy-pup!

As you can see from the pictures, and my diary discourse, most everything is still revolving around my beloved puppy.  I adore that he and Nikko have become such good buddies, and play so well and so often together, it's a beautiful thing to see, them chase and tumble about.  Now Iggy has started humping Nikko though (no I won't be posting pictures), I know it's purely a display of dominance, and Nikko not being a dog, and being such an incredibly mellow cat, couldn't care less, but I'll have to ask my puppy kindergarten teacher whether to just let him, or to tell him off.  I don't want him getting attitude, and I don't want him becoming one of these little dogs that tries to hump everything (he's had a few tries at some of his toys too).  This is my first male dog, so this isn't an issue I've encountered before.  Yes, there will be my little star at puppy class, already knowing all the commands, but trying to mount everybody else's puppy <groan>.

I taught him how to 'speak' today, since he's such a little vocal maniac anyways, it was very easy to do.  Thankfully he also seems to be understanding that I don't want him to bark anymore when I tell him 'that's enough' when he starts barking away, at the cat, at his food, at a toy, at the door, at the phone, at some odd noise outside, at me closing the cupboard door.  No, I did not do anything to encourage this behavior, he came this way, from day one.  He was vocal when I saw him with his littermates, he was all bark, grunts, snorts, trills and whines.  I loved him anyways.   Some of his noises are amazing.  He's very very expressive, the trick is, getting him to not express when it's not appropriate.

Okay, that's enough out of me, I have a puppy to play with, and I need to get some food in me!

Erotic photography that comes with a manifesto.  Beautiful, intense, passionate work, that brings together socio-political explorations of eroticism through images.  This site is a feast not only for the eyes, but also for the mind.  I haven't explored it completely yet, but so far I've loved everything I've laid eyes on.  Don't miss out on this one.  Erotic, exotic, evocative, this site makes me want to explore and challenge my creative urges.

Come on.... just a little something, money for tea? for Christmas dinner? for toilet paper? for shaving cream? for a puppy? for oranges? for tampons? for paper? for Mr. Noodle? hooked on phonics lessons? for anti-depressants? For puppy food? For puppy kindergarten? For bankruptcy fees? for neutering costs?
