November 28 - Snow?
Sitting and listening to the radio online, having fun with dominate radio - depending on the dj it can be some really good tunes, I find most of the time I'm not disappointed with them.
They also have some pretty cool contests. I've donated a month membership to our site DominAction for them, but they haven't listed it in their contests yet. I wouldn't mind winning some of their other contests... If you're into bdsm, listen to the radio online anyways, and are looking for something new... I would check them out. You might not only discover a good music resource, you might win something cool to boot. (Though they still haven't gotten our banner up properly).
I've had an amazing week. I've been working a lot on the site, and that always makes me feel good. I worked away at getting all my poetry up on the site, and that's done now finally. Now I just need to write some more, and write more in general. Poems always seem to hit me about once a month on average, and they usually come in two's or three's I don't know why that is.
They're predicting snow here this week, at least in the higher elevations, so I may or may not get it around my neighborhood. I'm fickle about snow. Sometimes I think it's beautiful and magical, and yearn with that childlike ache to wake up to the world blanketed in white. Other times I get my undies in a knot, I don't like the cold, and I really don't like wet and cold, and I really don't like slippery, wet and cold. (slippery, wet and hot... now, that's a different story altogether... purrrrrr... toss those knotty panties out the window, GrroOoowl).
I did have one fun time in the snow (probably more than one, but one that jumps immediately to mind) but I think the fact that I'd been imbibing in more than a little wine hadn't hurt the process. I wasn't feeling much of the cold. I ended up at someone's sauna party, they had their own home sauna in the backyard. Not a fancy house, not a lot of money, just a lot of innovation. Home made sauna, home made wine... high fence in the backyard. Heavy snowfall, and.. a big old swing hanging from a big old oak tree in the backyard. Well... you can guess how the story goes can't you?... we took turns running in and out of the sauna to swing on the big swing and then *poof* launch into the snow naked... and then... eep! run back into the sauna, more wine, more sauna, more swing, more snow... It's all kind of a blur, though I do remember a girl named 'Bubbles' showing me all her tattoos. I would have liked to have pictures of that (not bubbles and her tattoos.. well maybe...), I had long long hair then, and was much thinner... I think it would have made for interesting photo's... swinging through the snowy night landscape, naked and sweating on the big wooden swing.

Oop! Wolfe just came in and said that a 'snow warning' was just forecasted on the news. So it looks like we will be getting some in our neighborhood after all... well with the weather forecasting around here one never knows for sure. Heather Corinna posted some lovely snowy pics on her site, If we get snow I'd like to take some pictures of it. Maybe I'll even take pictures in it. I wonder how cold I would be if I just wore boots and a winter coat? Gulp!
I love the way it smells, just before it snows, when it snows. I had the feeling it was going to snow soon when I was out today walking my rent-a-dog. (I REALLY want a puppy for Christmas... oh please oh please oh please... Santa send me a puppy!, actually I probably shouldn't say that, I heard a net rumor that a camgirl got a kitten sent to her in her P.O. Box... do NOT mail me a puppy... just send cash! <grin>).
So, it's been a slow season traffic wise, I think people are feeling it most places. I'm trying to think of new ways to encourage traffic flow... so I put up a treasure hunt page for my free pic of the day. I know, with a little surfing savvy, you can locate the pic pretty easily, but hey... it's just meant as a fun and creative reminder for people to send me a little support by surfing some of the links I provide on my site. I'm yearning to write a deep, moving, stimulating journal entry, but all that comes out of me lately are bits and snippets. So you'll have to subsist on this diet of journal junk food until I can get around to cooking you up something more substantial, what can I say, I've had lazy brain lately.
