October 30 - Still toiling
Well, I've gotten www.dominaction.com work done for the new site design, I just have to upload all the changes... and then test for the inevitable buggy bits that haven't been worked out yet. I'm very happy with it. Similar to www.erotimania.com in design, but with some differences of course as well. Please if you come across any bugs or anything that looks like a discrepancy in either site please please please email us and let us know (my email links right at the bottom of this very page).
I'm going to have my hair bleached tonight (hopefully) by barbie, and maybe she'll take some pictures for me, I want the sides shaved down very short.
Then thursday, we are going to do a big photo shoot. big big. Not sure how much will be on camera streaming as well, probably some of it anyways, but the focus is going to be on still photos. Shooting with my friend Princess from www.sexysoles.com so there will be foot fetish shots for her site, and some for www.dominaction.com as I want to put a sizable foot fetish section in there. We'll also probably do galleries for both more mainstream bondage/bdsm and probably softcore content for erotimania, and maybe even some hardcore content for erotimania... yummy. It will be a long fun hard day.
We've got so much work to do with upgrading the sites that the new content probably won't flow in till at least next week though. These things take time. I tell you... this site is a labor of love. I can't believe how much time and energy is spent on it... Wolfe was teasing me the other day, I was proud as hell of all the site design work I'd done, feeling high and mighty, WOW look what I can do... since it's all self taught stuff, and then he laughed and said yes, and think of it, if you'd be doing this for a big company you'd be making how many dollars an hour?... what do you think we're making now an hour? 5 cents? Actually, we both laughed about it, because really, you can't do this kind of project for the money... well if your lucky you can. But usually, there's a sell out of some kind in order to get the bucks really rolling in.
I don't want to work for someone else and do it their way... I want to do it my way, and enjoy it...even if it means less/no cash... crazy maybe, but it's what I do, not what I get for it that's important to me.
So, as time goes on, I continue to evolve the sites so they feel more like 'my home'... in design, and content, and stuff. Having more sites is like wanting to build rooms into/onto your house, for different purposes, reflecting different parts of you. It's like growth. It feels natural and good, like stretching out. Doing more of what I like and how I like it. slowly, but surely, maybe, hopefully? we'll get there.
I have so many ideas... I know it well never really be done, and that it's always a continual process, in fact, that just makes it better.
barbie my sweet, is cooking for me right now, I'm so spoiled, I love cooking.. but other times I love not cooking just as much. The smells are wafting down the hall and my tummy's grumbling.
Tomorrow is all hallows eve and I need to go get candy for the kiddies, and stock to make pumpkin soup with the day after. <smile>
cooked and pureed pumpkin, chicken stock, milk, coconut milk, curry... it's a good thing.. maybe a little sprinkling of cilantro on top. Trust me, very yummy. It is a tasty squash you know... not just for intriguing kiddies and scaring goblins away.
Then of course the seeds, seasoned and toasted.... and who knows, maybe pumpkin bread. pumpkin bread and pumpkin soup. hmmm
Okay, I'm definitely getting hungry now, I'm becoming food obsessed time to go see if it's almost ready, and if it's not, sneak a taste test.
Play safe tomorrow, and remember to keep your pets inside... pranks, sadists, firecrackers, and people just looking weird can all be traumatic for cats and dogs. Me, I'm staying home and handing out candy. I love that.
