October 4th - Feng Shui

Well... Traffic on the sites has been picking up a bit.  I wonder if it has anything to do with feng shui?

Feng Shui is the art of arranging your home and belongings to encourage the movement of
positive energy throughout your home, and therefore your life.
Different areas of your home correspond to different areas of life and living.

You can encourage the positive movement of chi, energy, be removing clutter and many other
little things, how the furnishings are arranged, what kind of objects are in the room, removing clutter... etc.

Recently, we uncluttered the area of our home that relates to financial well being.
Tidied and decorated it up, and hung coins to symbolize wealth on the walls.

Well... we have had lots of new sign ups!

We've also been working hard lately on advertising and on site development.

So likely that has something to do with it too!.. <smile>
You may have noticed, that I have an appreciation of things Eastern.
I've always had a distant interest in Feng Shui, and barbie has more of an interest,
so she influenced me to look deeper into the subject.  I love decorating.

Oddly enough the area of our home that corresponds to finances and success
happens to be where we house the computers and work on the site.
Computers and electronics can generate chi, so that's probably pretty good.
One of the things I've done to decorate the room is hang the three part folding screen we have
as a window treatment on the wall opposite the computer desk.  It makes for a nice backdrop.

I snapped a few pics of me in front of it with my wild make-up and hair extensions in.
Just before Wolfe and I did a little impromptu photo shoot/cam show tonight where I made him
some duct tape shorts.  I figured... Since we had to cancel the other night, and my big
taping event with Wolfe and barbie was postponed.  I wanted to do SOMETHING with duct tape!
I wanted to wait to experience it directly when I got to have both of them around, soooo...
I taped Wolfe instead.

Cancelling yesterdays event was a bummer for me.  Unfortunately, there was a death in the
extended family, and with people needing emotional support, it wasn't the right night.

I'm still meaning to do a photo tour of my home one of these days.  I should have done one
of the loft when we were living there.  I enjoy looking at my homes in photographs, everything
always looks bigger, brighter, cleaner...  The magic of cameras!  They add 10 pounds to your walls!
My second hand furniture and make shift art looks like better homes and gardens... well almost.

Speaking of uncluttering, and the reality of the mess that you don't see because it's out of the bounds
of the camera, usually, I have to tidy this room up again!  ergh!  Don't want the chi to stagnate...
