January 30

I had my hair bleached today, one of the pieces of furniture we were selling was really inexpensive, attached to our building is a hair salon, the salon owner saw the black dresser advertised in our building and wanted to buy it, well, instead I traded having my hair done.  It was starting to drive me crazy, and now I feel a million times better!  I was lounging downstairs with the dogs and the cats, and Wolfe snapped some pics because the animals were all flaked out with me.

Nikko decided to grace the dogs with his presence, instead of hanging out in the bed up in the loft which is his usual haunt.

I took advantage of their sleepiness and cradled them up in my arms for big hugs.  All of them sleep with us in the big bed up in the loft at night, and I often grab them all together for a big squeeze.

Iggy piggy isn't as startled as he looks, he's always bug eyed, born that way.  So there we were two strawberry blondes and two brunettes, though I was the only chick in the bunch.

I was supposed to hang with foot friend this evening, but seems he has taken ill, maybe he'll be up to a get together soon.  I do get to spend a lovely lunch with my baby doll tomorrow, crepes, as usual, can't have too many lemon crepes. It will be the lunar new years eve tomorrow, and on the first of February is Lunar New Years day, so I'll celebrate by trying to eat as many Asian dumplings as possible over the weekend! Wolfe and I have our eleven year anniversary on February second, so it will be a number of days of general good tidings.  The loft is coming together, and we have plans for more furniture purchases and renovations as we are able to afford them, slowly, but steadily, will build our home to the design we would like to have it.

All in all, I'm not feeling too bad, I still have many symptoms of depression which limit a lot of my activities, but my overall level of true despair, seems to have lifted somewhat, and given me a bit of respite from feeling completely broken down.

Right now, life isn't too bad, I have a moment, of content.

Buddhist quote:

If you want to know the past, to know what has caused you, look at yourself in the present, for that is the pasts effect. If you want to know your future, then look at yourself in the present, for that is the cause of the future.
