January 31st - oh so blonde
Went to the salon... hairdressing school actually... I like them. <smile> And got very very worked over for 3 hours tonight, and enjoyed it thoroughly. I like going to the school, where you get handled by the teacher, then by the student, then by the teacher again, and I find they're really thorough.
I really liked the head hairdressers style, how she handled my head and my hair, I love that alternating gentle and firm, and even rough handling.
Then
what came out on the other end of that, was a very very pastel blonde
me.
I'm loving it. :) Feels good, worth the time, the stinging pain of my
tenderized scalp, and the bucks you always have to shell out for a bleaching
out, expensive, even in a school setting.
I like the combination of the feminine sensual quality of pale pale blonde, and the boyish simplicity of the short cut... It's something that always catches my eye when other women sport the style, and when I wear it, makes me feel sexy and flirtatious.
Have I got anything more important to write about? Oh probably, but this is where my head is at right now. <smile>.
Wolfe and I met 9 years ago (in 1992) this coming friday, and it's the anniversary we celebrate the most. We were pretty much inseparable from the night we met onward. Spending most every night together, and moving in together 3 months after we met. Our marriage which was in 1995 in June, and we celebrate that as well, but not with the same intensity of feeling.. <smile> I say celebrate, but really it's not so much that we do something special, as that, we just share the recollection and the joy of continuing our lives together, and we just have the shared awareness of our happiness at marking our time together. I'm looking forward to just spending a casual day with him... going out in the evening to the poly meet, which we try to make every month if we can, and then maybe going dancing to 'fly girl' afterwards.. I'll have to negotiate that part out with Wolfe.
Well, lots more I could blather about, things deeper and more intense, things lighter and less dense.. but hey I've had a long day, and I think it's time to hit the... hay!
