November 2nd - Music & Poetry

Listening to music and feeling like writing some poetry...

Listening to Alanis Morissette - You Oughta Know
Listening to Len - Feeling Alright

Stiffled

holding back hours
powers
too much
spinning in me
leg jostles like a small flurry
against my chair
it's my leg
my controlled stimulating tremble
anticipating
debating
aggravating
want to go out and play
no where to go
but simply can't stay

Listening to Placebo - Slave to the wage
Listening to NIN - closer

Your Kiss

I can remember the form of it
your lips sliding over mine
like...
when you squeeze the flesh of an avocado from it's rind
smooth tension
lubricated bliss
your kiss

I can remember the taste of it
like salted rose petals
like whispers made of flesh
like a small part of me screaming

I can remember the sight of it
bruised and swollen pink tender lips
wet cherry tongue
teeth like promises of something more dangerous
kiss me
miss you

I remember
your kiss
and the stroke of your tongue
against the wall of my soul

inside out
in bliss
lost
enraptured

your kiss

Listening to Coyote Shivers - Bisexual Girl
Ugly Kid Joe - Cats in the Cradle

4 corners

Some circles, have four corners
call the angels of north and south
let me smack your precious mouth
call the angels of east and west
I think you've only begun the test

Sacred circle.. not a wiccan prayer
Not a complex enochian layer
just four corners
directions are lost
4 riders left to dance
4 riders left to chance

One, I stand a point, connected
Two, we stand a door opened
Four, we take down the walls
convention falls...
circle flows

No one knows.

Listening to Split Endz - Six Months in a leaky boat
Listening to Bif Naked - Twitch
Listening to Loreena McKennitt - Dante's prayer
Listening to Madonna - Impressive Instant

Trembling

I need you
I've got you in my head now
in my blood now
in my heart now

Damn you.

Are you tough enough?
to come play with me
to stay with me
to find me

in Your head
in Your blood
in Your heart?

now?

Fuck you.

I need you.
this is too precious
too hot
too sweet
to slip away

Don't fumble this play...
life is too short too tight too simple
for you to play by the rules
societies tools
deluded fools

Little children

no one said, it would be easy
the best things, never ever are
you want to sail the ocean storm
you want to climb the mountain peak
you want to taste a slice of heaven
you want to experience real love.. to reap...
yet instead you hide, hide
hide and sleep

turn away
shut your eyes tight

you're right.

If you wait long enough
it will all have been a dream
and when you open your eyes again
life will slip by back in it's old simple stream...
and I will be, gone.

but somewhere

I'll still be.

needing you
having you in my head
in my blood
in my heart

and out of your sight

I'll scream.
