October 30th - Bed, Cats & Music

I worked too much this weekend.. so when I was home.. I spent a lot of time in bed!  Not that that should come as any great surprise.  Though it was even more time than usual.

Just read Wolfe's latest journal entry... oooooohh.. a whole six hours on the site.  Sounds like a regular day to me!  Actually I totally appreciate the work that he does on the site.  He steps in to do the techy stuff that I either can't do, or really really really don't like to do.  So even though I spend lots more time working on the site, it gets to be the end of things that I find most enjoyable.  So I have no real complaints.  Hell, if I didn't love it,
I wouldn't do it.  Wolfe's part is absolutely integral to having the site up and running smoothly.  I wish we both had even more time to devote and we could do all the things with it that we dream of doing.  Though I think overall we can't complain, considering, we're still just half a year old.

When you have cats, you are never alone.  My two little ancient angels are good for the most part.  Though it can be hard to take a nap with the purring in one ear from Mishima and the piteous mewling of Zuzu in the other ear.  The worst is when they get jealous and fight over me.  Literally.  Thankfully that doesn't happen all too often, and when it does, well, they're not the most efficient warriors.. it's little sissy slaps and hisses, and then they run off.

I discovered, among other things, Japanese wasabi flavored Indonesian shrimp chips in the local Asian supermarket the other day.  I love trying 'exotic' junk food...  and I have a penchant for things Japanese.. (especially school girls.. of age, of course).  If you like wasabi, and you like shrimp chips.. you would love these.  I don't know if you have a local Asian supermarket, and if you visit it if you do.. but if you do and you're lucky enough to find these here.. and you really like wasabi.. buy.  Yummy.

Though over all, I'm actually cutting down on the junk food.. or trying to, yet again, to get on track with pseudo healthy eating practices.  Now all I have to do is get around to investing (read spending money I really really don't want to) on a pair of good jogging shoes.  I keep thinking I can't afford money to go there, and then I keep thinking I can't afford not to do it either.  It all comes down to that what's more important.. the money, or my health.  So procrastination has ruled in that department for a while.

Have to do some more little videos soon for the site.  We've been good at adding lots of pics, galleries, all the time.  Now, have to add to some of the other areas.. as well, would like to expand into new things too.  Time is always such a restrictive factor.  I know this journal entry is all over the place today.  Ah well, it's at where it's at.  That's the thing with these things.  I don't edit, I don't plan, I don't really 'think'.. I just sit and write, and what spills off of my fingertips is what you get, pure and simple.  Sometimes it's more cohesive than others.

Music is very important to me.. and I usually listen to music that speaks to me about current life events, current emotional states... Things that I relate directly to what is going on for me.  So, if you listen, you may get as much or more insight out of them as you do from anything else I write about... So these are the songs I've been playing most often, most consistently.. lately.
