September 30th - Poems.. fresh from today
a
Glimmer
golden shine in your
eyes
rasping tongue... bit
dazed, eyes glazed...
I feel you
under my skin
pricked
teeth
undone
In the lion's den.
Frozen, I float.
Then
pride's passion..
yet another beast moves in
lioness
circles
madness
ensorcelled,
my flesh...
bound in something more
wholesum than Eden's paradise
where the lion lay down with the lamb.
re-writing
it
with teeth and tongue
the creation myth.

Shifted
The
stars, seem closer
the spaces between them, fuller
with a darker deeper black
catching my breath
over
and over and over again
fast, yet slow...
rhythm
as above, so below.

In a
corridor of white lilies
she runs...
the girl inside of me
miles of sheer white silk flow behind her
as she speeds around the corners and turns
the endless hedge maze of exotic design
in my mind
every turn unfolding new walls of flowers
the scent overwhelming.. dizzying
the ground bellow
hot snow
the
world is white, pure
intoxicating
and I run and I run
and I run
