Well, I'm mostly recuperated... I didn't have very good timing for my head shave... I was so wired that I only slept one hour that night before having to go into work early the next day. Then, I came home from work, started to sleep, slept for two hours, and got called for an overtime shift I couldn't refuse.. back to work, that took me until late night again.. got about 4 hours sleep before having to work my regular shift the next day (which is today... ) so I came home and crashed for a few hours.. and I'm feeling much better now...
So I'm writing this... feeling rather sleepy and sticky still.. but very happy over all. Next Friday we have a woman coming in to put in our new little steel staircase and railing on the loft, and we'll be getting rid of the big bulky stairs we have, I can't wait to free up the room... in this little place, every inch counts! Also there will be no more bumping of the head from having the bed stuck under the stairs.. woo hoo! I've been loving my head.. the shave went so well this time compared to the first time I did it, just as exciting, if not more so, and much more comfortable. Wolfe did an incredible job. However I still like the look of a little shadow, and I know my favorite part is going to be two or three days from now when I start to get a bit more stubbly.. :) I can tell you my sparring partners in kickboxing just slide off my head..
Tonight we go to a monthly discussion group that we attend.. for people who identify as polyamorous... basically respectful non-monogamy, which Wolfe and I feel is a label that fits us pretty well. It's a great group of folx, and it's a social event I really appreciate. Looking forward to catching up with some people I know, and others I might meet. If you're interested in more info on polyamory, check out www.polyamory.org or www.polyamory.com
Time to run.
