		<description>You're completely healthy mentally, as far as I'm concerned.  Being afraid of something so alien is normal, and if you weren't, I'd be more worried.  I've never gone through what you're having to deal with right now, but I do know that the fears aren't irrational, they aren't unhealthy, and it's ok to have them.  It's even ok to break down and cry about it at times.

http://myfibroidtumor.com/ is a website by a woman who had a similar experience.  It has links to what she went through, and how to contact her for support.  Perhaps it would help having someone who's been there to talk to?
