I think I’m probably PMSing as I’ve had a little mini slump the last few days. So have been glued to my sofa safe spot, and if you’ve called or written email, I haven’t checked messages either place. Wolfe screens for emergencies but otherwise just lets me do the ignoring of the outside world I need to do. Today was a bit better, enough that I dragged my bum out the door and we went for a drive up the mountain, Cypress Bowl.

Wolfe has this love of snow, and has been wanting to see snow all winter, so today I gave in and we drove up to the snow. I love the rain, but snow is pretty to look at, but icky to interact with. I brought the camera, but took very few pics, as we didn’t stay out that long. Also the snow was wet and deep and even booted I kept sinking and sliding - something which instills great feelings of panic in me.

The pugs seemed to mostly agree with me, Iggy likes snow for the most part, but usually only if he can run like a mad thing in it, we were close to the road, and they needed to be on leash, so I think he was a little less impressed. It was Bella’s first snow, and she was a little spooked.

The thing I enjoy about it is the visual yumminess, the views of the city from the mountain.

The forest all around, the ocean bellow, and the little waterfalls everywhere off the side of the road. Even in the cold they look inviting. One wishes it was a) a LOT warmer and b) legal to be nuddie butt in public. I would have been nekkid in waterfalls in instants with many happy pictures taken. Even with the cold, If it were legal for me to get naked at the side of the road, with a warm blanket and heat waiting in the car I would strip for photos in waterfalls. I wish I had the body conditioning to walk more off away from prying eyes. One of the things I’m looking forward to when we’ve gone gypsy is finding interesting places to take naked pics in, I think there is going to be a lot more nature photography involved, we’ll see, that and some trailer trash stuff… camper van porn! woo!

On the way back home we stopped for some sushi, and then back to my little corner on the couch with my comforter and laptop. At least I got out, for a bit.

We’ve been talking so much about the trip, it’s very exciting, it’s like being a kid waiting for Christmas. The realtor came yesterday, and we were very happy with his assessment. He’s the number one guy selling condos here in Vancouver, we were happy with how much he felt we would get for it, how fast he could sell it once listed, and how much his fee is, all good. Now it’s just a matter of Wolfe getting his surgery and getting well, and me settling things with my psychiatrist and getting a go-ahead there, and a plan for travel in effect.
