Rain

Hmmmm… what to write about other than my disturbingly long toenails…

That was for a friend, yummymommy on livejournal. It was a few weeks ago now, went to a mutual friends b-day party (b-day girl goes by Bandia on our websites, arwin.org is her blog). The birthday girl barfed her guts out and yummymommy painted my toenails and I promised I’d mention it in my journal, because I never write, and these people get tired of checking and getting NOTHING! It frustrates me too, I -think- about writing all the time. Particularly because I’ve actually been doing a fair bit lately, and have stuff to write about, besides birthday puke and my toenails even.

In no particular order…

Went to an -awesome- new restauraunt in our neighbourhood, called Curious. It’s on pender off of carrall in gastown here in Vancouver if you’re local and looking for a culinary experience. Really yummy little dishes, like fusion tapas almost. I like places where you can get lots of small dishes, share, and taste many things. It was Tanuki, Wolfe, and I on the day before thanksgiving, which was just a couple of days ago here in Canada. So we checked out Curious. Started out with a mixed greens salad that had mandarin slices and pumpkin seed dressing and goat cheese… so yummy. Followed with Ahi tuna tartare, which was served with home made thin crispy light crackers - to die for, my fave out of all the dishes. Then we got some little prawn taco bowls with corn salsa… still very very good even though the least favorite of the dishes for me. We had firecracker broccolli then, which was sweet salty and spicy with slivered almonds. Then we had beef medallions served with a little potato and aspargus. All the dishes were small but large enough for us each to have a good taste of it split in three. We ended with frangelico creme brule (spelling? I’m too lazy to check.) served with biscotti. I went to heaven. The challenge is now to stay out of it, and NOT walk around the corner to eat there everynight, how to grow broke quick. I would say safely though that we’ll probably hit Curious for a meal once a month, and that tuna tartare and creme brule will be part of the order for the night.

Hmmm, what else. Tommorow I get fitted for a mouth guard (grump), I’ve started grinding my teeth, seems to be a new development. I think it’s from the side effect from my meds of having dry mouth, It seems to get saliva going when I move my jaw around or something. At least that’s my story and I’m sticking to it. Speaking of side effects, since the continued weight gain since my onset of meds a few years ago, I’m seriously considering lap band surgery. Going to see my family doctor for a refferal. Cholesterol and blood pressure for me are directly linked to the weight thing. I talked to my psychiatrist about it, and he seemed positive, so we’ll see.

Moved the location of the downstairs web cam, it now lives on top of our television point at the couch upon which I spend the majority of my life, followed by my bed for a close second. There I am clicking away on the lap top in front of me, and usually with two pugs on or beside me… They’re the blackish lumps which may or may not be identifiable depending on the lighting (I like it dark at night) and on their location, sometimes they like to curl up in the crook of my knees and are therefore hidden from camera view. Other times I am what I refer to as ‘pug island’ they perch on my hip/side. They are going to be so ticked if I get lap band surgery and decrease the size and padding of their perching area. ….pugs.

The remaining mouse or mice we have have gone into stealth mode. Traps have not caught anything in eons, yet occassional droppings show… we are not alone. It’s gotten to where I eye neighbours cats in the courtyard with curious hope, maybe I can lure them in to our place for a little mousing. The pugs, Iggy and Bella, are having none of it. The fluffy puffy, as I like to call the fluffy little black cat that seems new to the courtyard and is roaming and meowing loudly a great deal of the time, has come to our sliding doors a couple of times only to be driven off by over excited barking puglets. They love cats, but they just love them a little too much. Most cats find that offensive.

Went to the Surrey kink munch tonight with jOni, my transgendered adult baby girl, after shopping together at a couple of value villages, where we had no luck. She has a new lockable diaper harness/chasitity device which she gave me the keys to today. Now whenever she’s in my presence she’s in diaper bondage… have to keep the big kidlets happy.

It’s beed a lot of play and stuff for me lately, went to the last BIO party with a submissive adult baby boy from Belingham who came up to play. Played at the party, and that was fun, really sweet little guy. Also went to Cirque de Sade earlier, end of September, didn’t play, but watched Wolfe play with the little girl, and I did enjoy a couple of yummy martini’s… which are quite a kick with all the meds I have to take. Going to have my friend Anjali for a visit this saturday, and we’ll probably do some play and some photos… she’s such a beautiful big curvy girl. I love her skin. Then taking pics of another friend on Sunday who has started work as an escort and needs pics for the agency website. Also have my cock and ball torture heavy bottom from Prince George in town. The man I can do the really nasty stuff with… do you want to know? really? Well play piercings in places that would make most men cringe, sounds (medical surgical steel instruments for insertion in the urethra), and hanging 10 pound canon balls from the testicals and giving it a little swing… trust me, he likes it. I may be a sadist, but I’m a compassionate and consensual one. I do want to get together for play and pics with him, but probably have to wait for a couple of weeks as I just have too much stuff on my plate.

Don’t want to crash again, so need to pace myself with activities, I can’t really handle more than a couple of commitments weekly and they have to be low stress commitments, because even doing stuff I like stresses me (stupid brain). Like writing in my journal, which I should just do, because once I’m doing it, I really find it good for me, which is why I do it, have done it, and want to keep doing it, and try to do it more!!!!

I’m going to keep my big toenails going till they break… or until I can’t bear wearing sandals any more in the rain.
