Dog park and tool dip

Took the doggies to the dog park at trout lake today. Love watching loads and loads of all different kinds of dogs playing together particularly if there is water involved. Iggy loves swimming and Bella hates watching him do it, because she’s scared to go above where her paws can touch, so she barks and nips and jumps on him once he’s back on land to tell him off. He only has eyes for squeaky ball.

Pretty much had a quiet day other than the park went to Home Depot to buy some tool dip as I want to make some canes (the kind you beat people with) and dip the handles, but they don’t carry it. Doesn’t that seem a little odd to you? Considering that Home Depots are frequented by both tool toters and kinky people, you think they would stock tool dip. But no. Now I’ll have to call around and see where I can get it, and get it in black, a lot of places only stock the orange stuff.

Rest of my evening was devoted to neopets and ‘reality’ television, tonights line-up big brother house, average joes, and INXS. The INXS show is kind of cool, people are competing to be their new lead singer, and each week someone is voted off, it works like american idol in that the voting is done by the american public watching. A lot of the contestants are from Canada, though I don’t think we can participate in the voting part. The quality of performance is far greater than american idol, and the tunes are all good ones.

Nuff from me, I’m onto re-reading the second harry potter book on my journey to have previous books all fresh in my mind before I embark on the latest one. Oh that reminds me, people please don’t post spoilers out there in cyber land, I stumbled on a post in a message board whose heading was a major spoiler, the heading, so no warning nothing, just sitting there black and white on a completely unrelated message board. Bummer.

Spoilers stink. They’re one of the reasons I plugged my head into the book and the book only all weekend last weekend and read it from cover to cover, with no Internet interruptions. Nobody could spoil it for me that way unless they knocked on my door!

Anyway, great site, and I hope you like the HP book as much as I did. :)
