Tickled Pink
Just came back from a sex toy party. Wolfe’s girlfriend runs Tickled Pink Toys and does hosted parties. This one was hosted by a friend of ours as well, so knew a bunch of the people there, and had fun meeting some new folx too as well as getting to know some people we already knew a little, better. yummymommy makes sweet things for a living, and brought an uber yummy cake. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm caaaaaaaaaaake.
We didn’t buy anything at the party, mostly because we’ve bought a bunch of stuff through her already, and are set to buy another whack of stuff soon, a lot of it is stuff she needs to order, like pony gear, and bondage hoods, and other fun but costly treats. Hopefully soon, all depends on our money situation. If I was up to doing some pro-Domme work it would all go to toys, but unfortunately I’m not really up to doing it. I’ve been barely making my way through doing occasional photo shoots and photo editing for the web sites, and thats VERY occasional. Wolfe does most of the work, I usually only do the creative editing end of things. A very small fractions a couple of hours a week here or there, if that.
Stupid depression.
We have mice. I can hear them squeaking in the kitchen as I type. When we had a cat, they weren’t much of an issue. Now it’s a little trickier. We’ve got some traps, but we can only put them out when the dogs are up in the loft at night, otherwise they are going to go for the peanut butter lure and get a nasty surprise.
I hate killing the mice, but unfortunately the no-kill traps don’t work as well (we’ve tried) and when you let the mice go, they either deek back into your own home, or your neighbours. It’s hard, we’ve had rats as pets in the past, and the mice are just so cute, I’ve seen one twice now in the last week, racing along the wall. Unfortunately they can spread disease, some rather serious, like the hanta virus, through there feces. Not fun. All our food is safe in enclosed containers, but they come in to eat the dog food and the garbage. We should look into getting a sealed garbage and putting the dog food away at night, it may help.
Okay, it’s late, my night time meds are starting to kick in, and I still want to play a little neopets and read a bit of the first harry potter book before I go to bed. The first book because my memory is crap due to the depression and the meds so I’m going to start at the beggining and read through then buy/read the latest book, at the rate at which I’m reading lately that will be a while. No rush.
