It’s dead Jim…

I’m a doctor not a computer tech! Actually I’m not a doctor either, regardless, my hard drive died tonight. So. I’m writing off of our laptop. I have no email, all lost, all links and info lost as well as lots of other stuff. Will bring it in somewhere that does forensic data recovery and see what is retrievable.

I’ve been recovering from my week long visit in Victoria, it was fun visiting with all my family, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews, parents, 6 dogs, and entirely too much food. But it tired me out too. Lots happening, not used to it. Also had a traumatic scare when our puppy, 10 month old Bella, got hit by a car. She bounced a few feet, and seemed fine, but we brought her into the emergency vet right away in case there was any internal bleeding or other problems we couldn’t identify. Miraculously she was just fine, but the cost of the visit was worth the security.

It always seems to be something. I went yesterday and had my last three fillings out of the eleven I needed done, and when I woke up today, all the soreness in my jaw was gone. I’m trying to decide if I’m going to get any cosmetic dentistry done, my teeth are near perfect, just a few little ragged edges along the bottom of the front ones and maybe whitening. Wolfe says it’s not really noticable. It would just be a feel good thing. I wish veneers where less expensive. Maybe I’ll just buy some whitening strips at the drug store and leave it at that.

Why did my hard drive have to die?

Well, better my computer than my dog. I’m not even sure of what I’ve lost via my hard drive, It could be bad… Well, off to do some mourning. wahhhhhhhh!

I think I saved your hard drive, fair maiden!

Time to invest in a backup drive.

Thank you Wolfe… (you were logged in as me!) Seems it was just in a coma. Now it can be backed up in case it crashes again.
